Turning CNC operator
Set up CNC Turning Machines:
This includes selecting and installing appropriate tools, fixtures, and workholding devices, as well as setting up the machine's operating parameters based on blueprints and specifications.
Interpret Technical Drawings:
CNC Turning Operators must be able to read and understand technical drawings, including 3D drawings, to determine dimensions, tolerances, and other specifications for the parts being produced.
Load Materials and Operate Machines:
Operators load raw materials, such as metal bars or rods, into the CNC turning machine and then operate the machine to remove material and shape the part according to the specified design.
Monitor Production:
Operators closely monitor the machine's operation during the production process, checking for any deviations from the specifications and making adjustments as needed.
Maintain Equipment:
CNC Turning Operators are responsible for performing routine maintenance on the CNC turning machines, such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
Safety Compliance:
Operators must adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while operating the CNC machines.
